Managing director of 9X Media Pradeep Guha passed away today, on 21 August after battling stage 4 liver cancer. Reports suggest that Guha was put on a ventilator on Friday morning, and succumbed to the disease on Saturday.
Fondly known as PG, Guha was the producer of Bollywood movie ‘Fiza’, worked as the president for The Times of India Group, served as the chief executive officer for Zee and was the MD at 9XM before he left for his heavenly abode.
He was associated with TOI for 29 years and played a key role in the rise of BCCL, he was associated with Zee from 2005-2008 and was associated with 9XM for 11 years.
The industry took to Twitter to share their condolences.
