Katie Price has told how her ex Dwight Yorke still refuses to see their son Harvey despite her mother reaching out to him every year.
Harvey is blind, autistic, has septo-optic dysplasia and a learning disability, and is one of the 2,000 people in the UK with Prader-Willi syndrome, a genetic disorder.
Katie, 45, revealed that her mother Amy contacts his manager each year on Harvey’s birthday to see if Dwight wants to see him.
She told The Guardian: ‘The door is always open. I would love the day I see Dwight and Harvey in front of each other.
‘My mum still contacts his manager every year, and asks does he want to see Harvey for his birthday, and it’s always the same – ‘no’.

‘I just want Dwight to know what a gorgeous young man Harvey is. Harvey has so much banter. He’s just a funny little b******d’.
Katie previously told how Dwight has never been involved much in Harvey’s life and she has only seen him a few times since their son was born.
Speaking on her podcast The Katie Price Show, she said: ‘Dwight turned up at the last minute but he didn’t want to come in the room or cut the cord so dad did it, he cut the cord.
‘And anyway I remember Dwight saying ‘oh there’s a bruise’ and I thought ‘don’t insult me.’
‘That was the last time I sort of saw Dwight, I didn’t see him many times after that.
‘I found it [the mark] and it’s called a Mongolian blue spot, it fades eventually.’
When Katie first fell pregnant with Harvey, Dwight denied he was the father, until a DNA test proved his paternity.
It comes after Katie’s mother Amy has revealed ‘womaniser’ Dwight is her favourite of her daughter’s former partners.
Katie said: ‘The door is always open. I would love the day I see Dwight and Harvey in front of each other’
She made the surprising admission in her upcoming autobiography, The Last Word, while recounting Katie’s ill-fated relationship with the footballer.
Yet Amy revealed that despite this, he still holds a special place in her heart.
An extract from her book, published in The Sun, read: ‘When Kate told me she was dating Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke, my heart sank. He had a reputation as a womaniser.
‘But of all the men Kate has dated in her life, Dwight will – perhaps surprisingly – always be my favourite because he gifted us this incredible child.’
Amy recounted how Dwight failed to show up at any scans or baby classes with her and ‘told her his mates thought she was keeping the baby just to get his money.’
While the athlete showed up for the birth, Amy revealed that his agent told him not to register the birth with Katie before getting a DNA test, noting: ‘what should have been a lovely memory was spoiled by this cynicism.’
In Katie’s 2021 memoir, Katie Price: Harvey and Me, the model detailed how Dwight apparently refused to see Harvey after the child had asked to see his father over a meal in Cheshire village Alderley Edge.
Katie penned: ‘I walked over to him and he didn’t really say much – it was so awkward. He hadn’t even bought me a drink! But that was typical Dwight.’

She claimed that it was after she arrived that he said he didn’t want to see the pair of them anymore.
The book read: ‘Even after he said that, I was still trying to be persistent. I wanted Harvey to have his dad in his life, but he just wasn’t interested in any of it. “This isn’t about me. This is your son and your flesh and blood,”
‘But he just didn’t give a s**t. There’s only so much you can try before you realise you’re flogging a dead horse. I got up and left and that’s the last time I saw him. I haven’t heard from him since.’
Dwight previously slammed Katie in his own book Born To Score in 2009 after he claimed that she did not let him see Harvey.
He wrote: ‘From the moment I set eyes on the little fella, I have loved my son like I could never ever have imagined possible. I am not going to hear any more that I did not care for Harvey, or have any understanding of his needs or that I was not interested in his welfare.’
Katie later struck up a romance with singer Peter Andre 50, after meeting on I’m A Celebrity in 2004 and the pair got married in 2006 and he helped raise Harvey.
They couple also had two children; son Junior, 18, and Princess, 15, before they split in 2009.

Admitting she was on the ‘rebound’ Katie started dating cage fighter Alex Reid, 47, a mere eight weeks after her split from Pete.
Following a whirlwind romance the pair wed in Las Vegas in January 2010 but the marriage fell apart less than a year later.
Two years later Katie fell for Argentinian model Leandro, 37, after meeting him at Elton John’s Oscars party in LA.
Revealing she bedded him on the first night, the pair went on to get engaged before they split in 2012.
Later that year, Katie met part-time stripper and plasterer Kieran, who is nine years her junior.
The pair exchanged vows a mere five weeks later with Katie already pregnant with the couple’s first son Jett.
However, in 2017 the pair announced they were going to divorce, three years after she found out about Kieran’s affairs with her friends Jane Poutney and Chrissy Thomas.
In July 2019, Katie announced she was engaged again to personal trainer Kris Boyson, 34, Bayern München Tröja after a year of dating.
The reality star – who was still legally married to third husband Kieran at the time- made the shock announcement during an appearance on Loose Women.
Their engagement was short-lived however as the couple split in November of that year, with Katie admitting to Kris that she cheated on him.
The reality star went on to find love with Carl in July 2020 and they became engaged the following year.
However, the pair have since split several times, with their latest break-up only announced last month.
